Lisa L. Walsh

Consultant | Operations & Process Improvement Specialist | Workforce Connector | Founder, SALTY by Wide Eyed Adventures

Born and raised on the beautiful Chain O’ Lakes in northern Lake County, Illinois, I’ve always had a passion for connection — whether it’s connecting people, processes, or purpose. I’m happily married to my husband, Chris, for almost 30 years, and together we’ve built a wonderful life here in Visalia since 2014 moving here with our two amazing children. Our daughter Vanessa, majored in Computer Science at UC Irvine while working in the IT department, and now lives in Chicago. Our youngest Jade is completing their journey at COS, working on American Sign Language along with theater and set design.
I’m also a proud rescue pet mom to three dogs and three cats who bring plenty of joy (and fur) to our lives.

My career began in medical supply manufacturing at Sage Products then industrial manufacturing from operations, procrement, supply chain, warehouse management, production planning and transportation coordination with Hydrite Chemical Co., where I worked in mutiple states fron Jan 2000 in Chicago land to September 2023 . Over the past 30 plus years, I’ve developed deep expertise in procurement, consulting, operations, inventory and manufacturing planning, process and systems improvement, and vendor/customer relations. My passion lies in helping organizations operate smarter, connect more effectively, and grow sustainably.

Recently, I earned my Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) — combining my love for adventure and mobility with my latest business venture, SALTY by Wide-Eyed Adventures, a mobile halotherapy experience designed to bring wellness to workplaces, communities, and events. I’m also deeply committed to training and mentoring others, helping individuals and teams grow their knowledge, confidence, and careers.

In the community, I serve as Chairman of the Visalia Communuty Enhancememt (aka Parks&Rec Foundation). I also serve on the Visalia Chamber of Commerce Board, the Visalia County Center Rotary and Foundation Board, the Visalia Friendship House Board. I am an advisor for the South Valley Industrial Collaborative, and an Advisor for the S2J2.

My goal is to bridge the gap between business, education, and workforce development — building pathways that allow Central Valley residents to pursue purposeful, financially rewarding work while strengthening our local economy. I’m passionate about cultivating a Central Valley Talent Pipeline that supports both our community and the future of industry.

When I’m not working or volunteering, you’ll find me camping, boating, hiking, attending car shows and races, or indulging in a little “retail therapy” at TJ Maxx or HomeGoods. I also appreciate a great tequila, a smooth cabernet, or a flavorful porter or stout shared among good friends.
